Tottenham and West Ham are reportedly in a battle to sign Juventus midfielder Rolando Mandragora.
According to Italian website Tutto Mercato Web, the English sides have joined Sassuolo, Bologna, Pescara and Crotone in the race for the 19-year-old.
Both Spurs and the Hammers have reportedly met the player’s representatives, but despite the interest, Juventus are not willing to let him go this summer. Not even on a loan deal.
Mandragora was bought from Genoa in January for €6m, but at the time he was mid way through a season long loan at Pescara, who were in Serie B. Mandragora helped the club get promotion to Serie A, after they finished 4th.
The left footed youngster can play both as a central midfielder, defensive midfielder, or as a central defender. Mandragora has represented Italy at every level from U17 to U21, making his U21 debut last August, despite being just 18 years old at the time.
Tottenham and West Ham would surely only be interested in a permanent transfer.
