Tottenham Hotspur are once again linked to the Brazilian winger David Neres today. This time, the claims come from the Italian media.
Website Calcio Mercato brings a story about Milan’s interest in the Ajax player, but warns the Rossoneri that there’s huge competition for the 22-year-old.
They say Borussia Dortmund, PSG and Tottenham Hotspur were already chasing Neres. Now Bayern Munich have scouted him and want the player as well.
Signed from São Paulo on a €12m deal, Neres would now be worth around €50m given all this competition for him.
Tottenham have been linked with Neres for over a year now. Back when they signed Lucas Moura from PSG, the Brazilian media had already claimed that the next one would be the Ajax player.
Earlier this week, it’s been reported that Tottenham were one of the clubs who had scouts watching the match between Ajax and PSV, so they certainly saw Neres’ skills closely.
