As clubs continue to pile up for the signing of Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea this summer, Tottenham Hotspur now seem to have joined the race.

The information comes from Italy, where local outlets have been speaking a lot about the interest from Serie A sides in the 30-year-old.

AS Roma Live now claims that ‘in the last few hours’, Tottenham ‘also launched signals of appreciation’ for the winger.

Probably aware that Ziyech has been generating big interest, Chelsea have already set a price tag for his sale of £18m.

The report adds that Tottenham are looking to strengthen their wings this summer, pointing out that Dejan Kilusevski has ‘not convinced’ yet.

Spurs, however, are still to place any bids for Ziyech. So that’s a move that should be left for the transfer window, when they’re set to face competition from Roma for the signing.

The Moroccan winger only has 19 appearances for Chelsea this season, and that’s the main reason he’s set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Now even though he’d been heavily linked with a move to Italy, it seems he could have the option of staying in London.
