Earlier this month, reports coming out of the Italian media talked about Weston McKennie as a target for Tottenham Hotspur in the winter market.
Journalist Niccolò Ceccarini, writing in his column for TuttoMercatoWeb, mentions the north London club’s interest in the Juventus player.
Ceccarini says the World Cup break will allow the Turin club to analyse their mistakes, and he insists responsibility must be shared by everyone at the club.
The journalists says some players ‘may already leave’ the club in the upcoming window. The USMNT midfielder is the first one to get a mention as ‘there is Tottenham’ on him.
Spurs chief Fabio Paratici signed the 24-year-old on loan from Schalke in 2020 and made his stay permanent in 2021. The Italian is an ‘admirer’ of the player, but the latter is only an idea for Tottenham.
With McKennie named as one of the players who could leave Juve, and Tottenham named as his suitor, it is a case to keep an eye on for January.
