Alejo Véliz’s transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Sevilla is now done, according to claims on Thursday evening.

Argentine journalist Cesar Luis Merlo is the one saying the striker is the La Liga side’s ‘new reinforcement’.

Just like previous claims said, it’s now confirmed that Tottenham are loaning him out for the rest of the season, with the Spanish club having no right to buy.

It seems Sevilla have now got the attacker they’ve been looking for, as there had been a big effort to land a forward before the end of the transfer window.

The Nervión side had also been chasing Boavista’s Robert Bozenik, and journalist Bruno Andrade reveals that they’ve been struggling to get their offer for that player accepted.

The Slovakian player is said to be in Seville waiting for a deal, though, so we’ll see how they react now that Veliz is apparently signed.

The 20-year-old arrived at Tottenham last summer in a €20m move from Rosario Central. With little chances to play in the Premier League, he’s now leaving to get some more experience in Spain, while his contract with Spurs runs until 2029.
