For Tottenham loanee Tanguy Ndombele, the international break has been a source of good news after a poor start of the season at Galatasaray.

Accused of being overweight and struggling to perform during the first few months of the campaign, the French midfielder reportedly made the most of his time off to convince those in charge of the Turkish side that he still has a lot to give.

A meeting took place between the Tottenham man and his manager, Okan Buruk, with a bit more information being provided by journalist Osman Şenher for Milliyet.

He looks at how things will evolve at Galatasaray over the next few weeks, with multiple important games coming up, including a Champions League clash against Manchester United.

Mauro Icardi should be fully back from his injury, and Ndombele’s ‘tempo and desire has increased by 100%’ after his meetings with his manager.

That will be exactly what Tottenham want to hear after a flurry of bad news since the start of the season, and there will be hope that he can turn his season around to hopefully bring them some money next summer.
