Sometimes, with the ridiculous amount of stories being published on a daily basis, some rumours slip through the cracks.

Thankfully, outside of the transfer window, not a lot actually happens, so most of what is reported stays relevant longer than during it, like a story from RMC Sport sending Layvin Kurzawa to Tottenham.

With Danny Rose seemingly out of favour at Wembley Stadium, and Mauricio Pochettino preferring Ben Davies, a need for a left-back in the summer could very well lead to the club looking at the Paris Saint-Germain defender.

Various reports from France have hinted Kurzawa, who was allegedly furious at being left out against Real Madrid in the Champions League, could be eyeing an exit in the summer, which would suit both parties.

Much like Serge Aurier, this could allow the 25-year-old to start anew, far from the distractions of the French capital, in a city where he’ll have to create a new life.

No price is mentioned, but with a contract running out in 2020 and a difficult situation at Paris Saint-Germain, perhaps a similar deal to that pulled off by Tottenham for their right-back could be on the cards.

Intriguingly there were claims from France in December that PSG are keen on Danny Rose, which could make any negotiations for Kurzawa rather interesting.
