Tottenham Hotspur are looking to table a ‘very serious offer’ to sign Trabzonspor attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici, with the player impressing in recent months for the Turkish side.
Yazici has been in good form since the second half of last season, and his performances have brought him a few admirers, including, according to Turkish claims, Tottenham, and their local rivals Arsenal.
Sporx claim Tottenham scouts have been following Yazici’s performances since the beginning of the season, and they’ve been impressed with what they’ve seen from the midfielder.
Yazici has been one of the best players in the Turkish League this season despite only being 20 years old, and Trabzonspor could command a decent fee for the player.
It’s not the first time the Premier League side have bene linked with a Turkish youngster in recent months, after their attempts to sign Cengiz Under last summer.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has a tendency to work with youngsters, and Yazici could be an ideal signing for the Argentine. On the other hand, Tottenham seem to be a Turkish rumour favourite at the moment, which could suggest this one is to be taken with a pinch of salt.
