Ever since it became apparent that Barcelona were indeed willing to negotiate the exit of Franck KessiƩ this summer, Tottenham have been mentioned.
The Spanish media brought Spurs into the fray quite strongly this week, and now the Italian media have heard the same, with both Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport discussing the matter on Friday.
The latter of the two point out that Tottenham appear to have āforcefully entered the sceneā for the midfielder, and are ready to give Barcelona ā¬15m āwithout any particular problemsā for what would be a permanent transfer.
Gazzetta dello Sport corroborate some of this, and add that Tottenham are ātaking the first stepsā to take KessiĆ© away from right under Juventusā noses, who have been trying to sort out some sort of deal with Barcelona for a while.
Therefore, it seems that regardless of what is happening with Harry Kane in London, there is some movement from behind the scenes at Tottenham for the Ivory Coast international.
