Inter Milan star Romelu Lukaku is edging closer to returning to Chelsea and his arrival will most likely bring an end to Tammy Abraham’s time at Stamford Bridge.

According to Sky Italia, AS Roma and Arsenal have the striker on their agenda for this summer.

Edin Džeko is Inter bound and the Blues striker is the ‘first player on the list’ for Roma to replace the Bosnian.

The Giallorossi are ‘aiming decisively’ for Abraham, so much so that they have found an agreement with the west London club, either for a loan deal with a redemption option or for the permanent transfer with a ‘very low first instalment’ of about €5m.

Despite José Mourinho’s side having an agreement in place, Sky Italia add the 23-year-old’s desire needs to be found out. Abraham ‘reflects’ because ‘there is Arsenal’.

The north London club are on the player’s trail, but Chelsea would prefer to sell him to a club outside England than allow him to join the Gunners.

The attacker has the option to accept Roma’s proposal, but ‘he wants to think about it for a few days’ before taking a decision.

Whether it will be Arsenal or Roma remains to be seen.
