According to reports in the Swedish media, Brondby are showing an interest in Bristol City forward Gustav Engvall.
Brondby look to be in the market for a forward, and last month they were linked with Leeds United’s Pawel Cibicki, after claims the player’s agent held talks in Denmark with officials from the Danish club.
In recent weeks Fotboll Direkt have been reporting on Engvall’s future with Bristol City after they linked him with a move to Plymouth and Panathinaikos.
The Swede is struggling to get games at Bristol City, and could look to move on in this window.
Last season Engvall had a loan spell with Swedish side Djurgården, and he could be set for a return to Scandinavia with Brondby taking an interest.
This is the second time within a month Brondby have been linked with a forward from the Championship, after the agent Cibicki held meetings with officials from the Danish club.
At the time Cibicki wasn’t getting games for Leeds United, and it seems Brondby were ready to test the resolve of the Elland Road club.
However, nothing came from the discussions in Copenhagen, and since then the 23 year old has started to feature more for Leeds United.
