There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Galatasaray are continuing to hold talks with Liverpool over potentially signing Divock Origi.

The Belgian forward looks surplus to requirements at Anfield and in recent days he’s even been linked with a move to Liverpool’s local rival Everton.

Galatasaray are keen to bring in a No.9 during the next window and they’ve also been linked with Everton’s Oumar Niasse in recent weeks.

Fotomac have reported on the latest developments over Origi’s future at Liverpool and explain Galatasaray are looking to get a loan deal agreed for the player.

However, due to FFP, the Istanbul club need to comply with UEFA and subsequently they’ve asked the Premier League side to loan the forward for free.

The Turkish media often feel it’ll ne much easier to negotiate beneficial loan deals with Premier League clubs than it actually turns out to be in practice.

That’s been the case with Niasse and Everton for some time, and it would appear Origi is being dragged into the same scenario. Given how tough Liverpool have been on transfers in recent windows, Gala’s chances don’t look good.
