Fanatik claim Liverpool loanee Loris Karius has told the Besiktas board he will discuss his future with them at the end of the season.
Despite a mixed first season, the German’s form has drastically improved following the arrival of Abdullah Avci, and he’s established himself as a key player for the Turkish club.
After his recent form, reports in the Turkish media suggested the Black Eagles could sign him permanently next summer, and it’s reported Avci also wants him to stay at the club.
Today Fanatik claim Besiktas’ board have opened talks with the Liverpool owned keeper but the 26 year old has informed them he’s not yet ready to decide on his next step.
Karius reportedly said he wants to focus on his performances until the end of the current campaign but has hinted he’d be happy to continue his career in Istanbul.
Besiktas have the option to make the move permanent for €8m, and Fanatik report if they agree to activate his clause, they will pay Liverpool in instalments.
