Any AC Milan deal for Chelsea trio Olivier Giroud, Hakim Ziyech and Ibrahima Bakayoko will take ‘at least 15-20 days’ to get over the line.
That’s according to Sky Sport Italy, who say ‘it takes time’ for Italian side to negotiate Chelsea down from their respective asking prices and accept loan deals.
Milan have been heavily linked with the Chelsea trio over the last few weeks, with it believed they are keen on taking all three from Stamford Bridge this summer.
Negotiations are ongoing regarding the players, although it’s believed Giroud already has a deal in place with the Serie A side.
More work is needed on teammates Bakayoko and Ziyech, and Sky say it will take nearly a month of ‘hope’ for those deals to be completed.
Milan need Chelsea to ‘lower their claims’ and ‘open up to loans’, although they don’t make it clear which players that would be in regard to.
Either way, it seems these are all deals which we’ll have to wait on, with negotiations complicated and likely to take their time.
