Back on Monday, reports from Brazil claimed that Chelsea had an agreement to sign Gabriel Moscardo from Corinthians.
It was Band host Neto who claimed to have such information, saying that was a £21m deal, even though he could ‘be wrong’ about it.
Well, it seems he was. Because both Jorge Nicola and UOL today claim that Moscardo is actually closer to moving to PSG.
On YouTube, Nicola claims that Luis Campos, director of the French club, scheduled a meeting with agent Giuliano Bertolucci to talk about Moscardo. The idea is to get the deal done before the end of the year.
Regarding Chelsea, the journalist claims the Blues have been signing too many midfielders and ‘completely rule out’ signing the Corinthians player right now.
UOL also features a story about PSG’s interest, confirming that Campos is set to go to Brazil at the weekend.
They mention Chelsea’s chase and say that despite an initial bid for the Blues, the business ‘did not evolve’, although they’re still interested.
Bruno Andrade, who wrote the story, claims on Twitter that their talks ‘did not collapse’, but ‘went cold’.
