Sabah report Fenerbahce watched Huddersfield Town defender Florent Hadergjonaj when Kosovo beat Montenegro earlier this week.
The Turkish club could be in the market for a right back during the next transfer window due to Mauricio Isla and Nabil Dirar approaching the end of their contracts.
According to Sabah, due to this situation Fenerbahce have identified a couple of targets and one of those is the Huddersfield Town man, who was impressive for his country on Monday night.
The 25 year old is an international teammate of Fener’s Vedat Muriqi and Sabah say the Super Lig side could use the influence of the forward to convince Hadergjonaj over a move to Istanbul.
After initially being loaned from FC Ingolstadt, Huddersfield Town paid €5m to sign him permanently in 2018 and he’s been a regular for them this season.
Hadergjonaj has made 8 appearances for the Championship side in this campaign.
He’s under contract with the Yorkshire club until June 2021, but the Terriers also have the option to extend the deal for further year.
