Four days ago, Sabah stated Aston Villa are keen on signing Barış Alper Yılmaz. It was also reported Galatasaray will need an offer around €30m to force negotiations this summer.
The Turkey international managed seven goals and 12 assists for the Istanbul club last season and he also starred for the national team at the Euros.
The winger has caught the attention of several clubs and Friday’s edition of Sabah focuses on Aston Villa’s interest.
Aston Villa are mentioned in a report that focuses on the fee requested by Galatasaray to party ways with some of their players.
Barış Alper Yılmaz’s deal lasts until 2027 and Transfermarket values him at €17m, but Sabah claim the Turkish champions would need at least €35m for him. This is the price they have set after the attacker impressed for his country in Germany.
Galatasaray’s demand seem to be unreasonable, considering the asking price was €30m four days ago and €20m back in May. It feels like they are using the media to increase the price, probably to try and create a bidding war.
