Victor Camarasa impressed during his season-long loan spell at Cardiff City and after the Welsh’s club relegation back to the Championship, he returned to Real Betis.
Estadio Deportivo reported on Wednesday that West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley have shown interest in signing the midfielder.
The 25-year-old is currently training with the La Liga side, but the situation could change soon. That’s because there is ‘strong interest’ from Crystal Palace, according to Marca.
It’s claimed the leaders of the Eagles have been in Seville since yesterday. They are trying to get closer to Betis’ requirements, so they can acquire the player’s services.
The report states the negotiation between two clubs is open. They further go on to suggest ‘everything could be resolved in the next few hours’.
Camarasa has a release clause of €25m in his Betis contract and since the start of the summer transfer window, the Spanish side viewed his sale with good eyes.
Crystal Palace already have funds to sign Camarasa, having sold Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United in June. Betis know this, so feel they can push for the fee they want.
