According to a claim in the Turkish media, Stoke City are still interested in signing Galatasaray midfielder Badou Ndiaye.
The Senegal international has been linked with a move to the Premier League side in recent weeks, after reports they tabled a bid for the player.
Fotospor have reported Galatasaray could look to offload three players in this transfer window to raise revenue, with one of those being Ndiaye.
It’s been suggested the Turkish side have a backup plan if Ndiaye does exit the club before next week’s deadline, following reports they are lining up former QPR midfielder Stéphane Mbia.
According to Fotospor Stoke City have offered €9m for Ndiaye, which is €7m less than what was reported earlier this month.
We covered reports from Turkey that Stoke City had offered €16m for the 27 year old, and that Galatasaray were thinking this over.
Ndiaye joined Galatasaray last summer for €7.5m, so it’s very likely they would be looking for a higher bid than €9m.
