Stoke City’s Bojan Krkic has reportedly become a Real Betis target for the summer. As reported by Radio Marca (via Estadio Deportivo), the 26-year-old has now joined the Spanish side’s list of possible signings for the transfer window.
Betis’ plan is to replace Dani Ceballos and Rubén Castro, and with some of their priority signings turning out to be difficult, they are starting to look for other players.
It’s claimed that club director Lorenzo Serra Ferrer has liked Bojan since the player’s time at Barcelona, and has had a good relationship with the player’s father ever since. It’s worth recalling there have been links between Betis and Bojan since those early rumours.
Ferrer’s idea is to bring in someone ‘with hunger’ who knows the Spanish league well, and it’s believed the Stoke City player could be that man.
What the story doesn’t mention is how much Stoke City demand for the player. Spanish clubs often struggle to make permanent signings from the Premier League, and it shouldn’t be different this time.
