Belgian star Eden Hazard was not at his best last season for Chelsea, but it only took a couple of good performances in the Euros for the Spanish media to again link him to Real Madrid.
El Confidencial in Spain are especially keen on Hazard moving to Real Madrid this summer, as they believe Zidane wants the Belgian skipper next season.
Following Belgium’s exit from the Euros last night, Spanish website ABC have an article on Hazard’s future.
ABC don’t seem to agree with El Confidencial at all. They say Real Madrid are not interested in signing Hazard, after a poor season at Chelsea.
There are also rumours of Real Madrid asking for Hazard in a deal for Alvaro Morata, and ABC dismiss those claims as well.
ABC say Eden Hazard is very keen on signing for Real Madrid, but the feeling is not mutual at the moment.
However, they do agree that Zidane likes Hazard, but his performances for Chelsea this season have made things difficult. If Hazard does want a Real Madrid move then he’ll hope nobody from the club watched Belgium’s match on Friday night.
