Watford had a good start to the season as they won their first four matches and are now fourth in the table with 13 points after six games, three points ahead of Manchester United and Bournemouth, who are in seventh and eighth position respectively.
Javi Gracia’s side and the Cherries’ results have seen them get a mention in today’s edition of Spanish newspaper Diario La Grada, where they talk about the clubs who have impressed from every league so far.
It’s claimed the two English clubs are among the few sides that have been the ‘revelations’ of European football this term as they ‘wander’ with the Premier League’s elite.
Bournemouth, on the other hand, have faced only one of the top clubs and that saw their 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on September 1st.
Watford have been receiving praise throughout world football for their start to the season, with comparisons in some of the world’s media to Leicester City.
Bournemouth haven’t had quite the same coverage but if they continue their good run then it’s likely to grow.
This helps build the ‘brand’ of both clubs and whilst that may please the money men off the pitch, it also helps with recruitment in coming windows.
