Álvaro Negredo is joining Middlesbrough tonight, according to AS.
The journalist Conrado Valle claims that the deal is done, pending the medicals which will take place on Wednesday.
Negredo is expected to join Middlesbrough on a loan deal, with an option of a permanent transfer to be made in the next summer.
We’ve covered stories from AS, Marca and Super Deporte in the past few days, but none of them mentioned how much Boro are paying for the Spanish striker.
Valencia paid Manchester City €28m for Negredo, and as the player never showed he’s worth that amount, the Spanish side now want to recover part of that money.
