Southampton are reportedly one of the clubs who are interested in Roma fullback Rick Karsdorp.
That’s revealed by Italian outlet Calciomercato, who features a story about the players who could still leave the Giallorossi in the January transfer window.
The website writes that Karsdorp is ‘practically out of the squad’, and when speaking of the clubs who have interest in him, Southampton get a mention.
The Saints aren’t alone in the race, though, as the likes of Fulham, Juventus, Marseille and Monza are all said to be keen on signing the 27-year-old.
Those clubs are still to take further steps for the transfer, as according to Calciomercato, Roma have only received loan offers for now.
The Giallorossi seem more keen on a guaranteed deal, and would loan him out in case of an obligatory purchase of around €10m.
Calcio, ercato says Monza appear to be ‘the most inclined’ to make that kind of investment, while there’s no information whether Southampton are already decided about the type of agreement they’d like to make to land the fullback.
