Le10 Sport have got it in their heads that Idrissa Gueye could be leaving PSG this summer. To be fair, they’re not the first to have mentioned it, and on Friday claimed two unnamed clubs have made transfer proposals for the midfielder.

On Saturday they suggest Wolves are one of the two. Whoever told them of the proposals, made it known that the clubs interested are outside the top five in their respective league.

Now it’s claimed ‘sources indicate’, Wolves would be one.

The idea that is if Nuno Espirito Santo’s side lose a midfielder, such as Ruben Neves, then they’d move into the market. It’s thought they like Gueye, and he’s a player who caught their attention, and that of others, with his performances for Everton in the Premier League.

There’s lots of ifs and buts. Firstly, it’s likely Julian Draxler and Ander Herrera are closer to the exit than Gueye. And then Wolves would have to see someone go, with Neves not looking like he’s going anywhere this summer.

But there’s no harm in keeping an eye on a player’s situation, and planning for multiple eventualities.
