Greek newspaper FOS claim Sheffield United are interested in four Olympiacos players ahead of the summer transfer window.
Chris Wilder’s side were sitting in 7th place in the Premier League with a game in hand before the Coronavirus outbreak, and they still have a good chance to qualify for Europe if the season restarts.
Subsequently the Blades would be looking to strengthen their squad in the summer and FOS reports Olympiacos’ Mady Camara, Omar Elabdellaoui, Pape Abou Cisse and Kostas Tsimikas are on their agenda.
According to FOS, this doesn’t mean Sheffield United will sign all four players, although they are currently considering their options.
Camara was strongly linked with a move to Bramall Lane during the last winter transfer window but it was reported at the time their proposal, which was believed to be lower than €10m, was rejected by the Greek club.
Elabdellaoui will become a free agent at the end of the season and has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs, including Southampton and Burnley.
Greek left-back Kostas Tsimikas is also dominating the sport headlines in Greece following reports the likes of Napoli and Leicester City are fighting it out for his signature.
Cisse has impressed in the Europa League this season. scoring against Arsenal in the last round.
