Jorginho is being increasingly linked with a move to the Premier League. Over the past couple of weeks there’s been a series of articles reporting the Napoli midfielder is a target for Liverpool, mainly, but also Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho are both thought to be looking for summer midfield additions, so the interest would make some sense.

Now, Italy’s TMW have taken things a step further. In a Thursday afternoon exclusive it’s claimed the player’s agent has travelled to England, Manchester specifically.

TMW say Joao Santos could possibly be having a meeting with Manchester United to lay the groundwork for a big summer transfer. It’s claimed Jorginho is in the thoughts of the Premier League club, so for TMW the pieces fit into place.

There’s every chance Santos would fly into Manchester if he was meeting Liverpool as well, and of course there’s always the Manchester City option.

Despite the rumours around a transfer, the agent’s visit may not be linked to that. Argentina face Italy on Friday at the Etihad, and Jorginho is in the Italian squad having chosen to represent the country despite being born in Brazil.

But that’s not quite as exciting is it?!

The 26 year old has a contract with Napoli until 2020 and wouldn’t come cheap for either Liverpool or Manchester United.
