According to a claim from Russian website Championat, Lokomotiv Moscow are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur forward Vincent Janssen.
It’s reported Lokomotiv are planning for next season and they’ve identified Janssen as a potential target in this transfer window.
The Dutch striker spent the majority of last season on the sidelines due to injuries and selection choices, but he did play for Mauricio Pochettino’s side during the latter stages of the campaign.
However, his future at Tottenham looks over after playing just 36 minutes of football, despite the injury to Harry Kane in April. It seems he isn’t in the plans of Pochettino and will need to move on this summer.
Janssen spent the 2017/18 season on loan at Fenerbahce but he struggled again with injuries, scoring 5 goals in 19 appearances for the Turkish club.
The former AZ Alkmaar striker moved to Tottenham in 2016, and is under contract with the North London side until June 2020.
