According to Fotospor, Leicester City’s Nampalys Mendy is a transfer target for Sivasspor and Medipol Basaksehir ahead of the summer transfer window.
Both clubs are going head to head for this season’s Super Lig title and are on course to qualify for European football. Subsequently they could look to strengthen their squads in the summer.
It’s reported the two Turkish clubs are interested in signing the 27 year old, who hasn’t been able to get regular first-team football with Leicester this season.
Fotospor also add Mendy’s contract situation is encouraging for the interested parties, as the player will become a free agent at the end of the season. He’s said to be preparing for his Leicester City exit in June.
The former Nice midfielder has been linked with a move to Galatasaray in the past, and there’s a good chance he could move to Turkey during the next transfer window.
He’s only made three Premier League appearances for Leicester in this campaign.
