Turkish newspaper Fanatik have reported on possible arrivals to the Super Lig in this transfer window and they say Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo could now be an option for Trabzonspor.
The Argentina international has been linked with Trabzonspor’s rivals Fenerbahce.
According to Fanatik, Rojo is a possible target for Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor as both sides look to strengthen their squads this month. The pair are in the race for the league title and subsequently a number of players have been linked with moves to both clubs
The Manchester United player could leave the Old Trafford in this transfer window after struggles with fitness and selection. He’s also been linked with a move to Sporting as part of the Bruno Fernandes deal, but the Lisbon club can’t match his wages.
Fener are currently unable to register any more players, with a financial restructuring deal yet to be approved by the Turkish FA, however, it’s thought that will be sorted out.
The 29 year old is under contracted until June 2021.
