There’s been a number of reports over the past couple of days that West Ham are interested in Inter’s Valentino Lazaro.

The news started emerging on Wednesday after FC Inter News reported the Hammers had ‘asked for information’ about the Austria international ahead of a possible loan.

That was then continued by Calciomercato.it, who explained a move to London Stadium was a ‘hypothesis’, and now we have a third website pushing the West Ham angle in Passione Inter.

The Italian website claim that, according to their information, a number of Serie A sides have joined the race and are following the player, ready to loan him, placing themselves alongside West Ham and Werder Bremen.

That’s three websites now believing that David Moyes’ side are after Lazaro, and yet none of the big newspapers are pushing it.

According to both Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport, it’s Newcastle United who are after the versatile winger, with no mention of West Ham.

An odd situation, and one we’ll be keeping an eye on in the coming days.
