According to Haber1903 founder Murat Ozen, a reliable source for Besiktas, a decision will made tomorrow on whether the Turkish side will accept Everton’s offer for Cenk Tosun.
The 26 year old has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League side in the past week.
Ozen has claimed Besiktas president Fikret Orman is returning tomorrow after reports last week he’s been on holiday, and will make the final decision on Everton’s bid for Tosun. Orman being away, with the club chief previously reported to be in South Africa, has meant a small delay.
It’s been reported by Ozen the Merseyside club have tabled a bid €25m including bonuses to sign the Turkey international. The figures between the English and Turkish media have been slightly different in recent days.
Everton have been linked with Tosun in recent weeks after they travelled to Germany to hold talks with the player’s agent. The Toffees have stepped up in their pursuit of Tosun in the past seven days, and will be hoping to seal a deal this week for the forward.
If Tosun moves to England for the reported €25m it will be a record transfer fee for a player moving from the Turkish league.
