Fenerbahce are looking to strengthen in the midfield department in the January transfer window and they’ve again been linked with a move for Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic.

We covered reports last month from Turkey that Fenerbahce manager Aykut Kocaman had identified the Liverpool youngster as a target, and now CNN Turk say the Turkish side will make a move for the 21 year old.

Grujic has been unable yo hold down a regular starting place in Jurgen Klopp’s side since he joined the Premier League club from Red Star Belgrade.

At this stage of his career Grujic needs to start playing first team football to continue his development and CNN Turk report Fenerbahce can offer him that.

Fenerbahce manager Aykut Kocaman is reportedly a huge fan of Grujic, and the Turkish giants have already contacted the midfielder’s agent about a potential loan move.

The Yellow Canaries are reportedly planning to offer Liverpool €1m to loan the player until the end of the season.

Jurgen Klopp’s opinion will be vital on Grujic’s future and whether he can leave for Turkey on loan.
