Football agent Sandor Varga has claimed Crystal Palace could make another offer to sign CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov during the next summer transfer window.
In the last window we covered claims from Russia with regards to Crystal Palace’s interest in the player and it was reported CSKA Moscow had rejected an offer from the Premier League side.
Speaking to TV show called Match Premiere via Championat, Varga said he’s now expecting the Eagles to return for Chalov at the end of the season: “I talked with Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson about Chalov. He really likes the player. I don’t want to exclude the possibility that Crystal Palace will make another move for him next summer.”
Again Crystal Palace have struggled for goals in this campaign, scoring just six in the opening seven league games. They could look to address this in the upcoming transfer windows, with Chalov a possible option.
The 21 year old caught the eye with his performances last season after he scored 17 goals in 37 matches for his boyhood club CSKA Moscow.
This season Chalov has featured 13 times for the Russian giants, scoring four goals. He’s under contract at the VEB Arena until June 2022.
