Rangers’ Rıdvan Yılmaz was the subject of concrete interest from Galatasaray in the winter market, but they weren’t able to agree a deal with Philippe Clement’s side.
The defender arrived at Ibrox from Beşiktaş in July 2022 when Giovanni van Bronckhorst was in charge at Rangers.
Van Bronckhorst left Rangers later that year, and Beşiktaş appointed him as their new manager.
According to Türkiye Gazetesi, the Dutchman’s side could make an attempt to sign the Rangers player in the summer window.
If Masuaku were to leave, the Turkish club would want to use the money to buy the Rangers left-back.
It’s claimed Beşiktaş have held talks with Yılmaz after Van Bronckhorst gave his approval to bring him back to the club.
Yılmaz’s deal lasts until 2027, and the report makes no mention of whether Philippe Clement’s side are willing to let him leave this summer.
