Glasgow Rangers are one of the sides showing an interest in Stoke City youngster Souleymane Sidibé, who has a growing list of admirers in Europe.

That’s according to Foot Mercato, who report that Rangers are interested in potentially bringing the youngster to Ibrox and adding him to Philippe Clement’s squad.

FM report that Sidibé has a long list of admirers that only continues to rise as he establishes himself at Stoke City and begins to make a name for himself.

He’s been eyed up since he was 14 years old, with the ‘precocious talent’ being courted by the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool at that point.

Three years later and his list of suitors is only bigger, and Rangers are one of those currently in the mix for the highly rated 17-year-old.

That’s particularly the case after this season in which he became the first player born in 2007 to make his debut in the top two flights of English football and the 2nd youngster player to make their debut in Stoke’s history.

He’s considered a real jewel and potential star of the future, and Rangers are showing an interest in taking him to Ibrox if they can.

Philippe Clement’s side are one of several currently interested in a deal, with Chelsea, Juventus, Brighton and Monaco all reportedly keeping an eye on him.

Stoke, for their part, do not intend to give up the youngster, who is the son of Potters icon Mamady Sidibé, easily and will demand a top fee for him, backed by the fact he is signed to a deal until 2026.

Whether Clement and Rangers can offer such a figure to ensure his next destination is Ibrox remains to be seen but they are in the mix, nonetheless.
