According to Fotospor, Besiktas presidential candidate Ahmet Nur Cebi’s right-hand man Erdal Torunogullari has met with the agent of Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho’s over a potential January move.
Cebi is one of the big favourites to win the Besiktas presidential race and the election will be held on Sunday.
Fotospor claim he is planning to make Erdal Torunogullari head of football and he’s reportedly already in talks with a couple of players ahead of the next window, including the Leicester City forward.
With competition from the likes of Jamie Vardy and Ayoze Perez, Iheanacho could look to move to get more first team football and Besiktas could provide him with this opportunity.
The former Manchester City player has played just 19 minutes of Premier League football for Leicester City this season as he’s under contract at the King Power Stadium until June 2022.
