Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte today shares an interesting article on the future of Norwich City midfielder Gabriel Sara.
The story’s main focus is on his former club, São Paulo. When agreeing his sale to the Canaries, the club kept 10% of a future move. Now his good first season in the Championship gives them hope of making some more profit this summer.
It’s said that even though there have been no advanced contacts for Sara so far, scouts from Premier League clubs have been giving special attention to the Norwich City player.
Globo Esporte adds that the 23-year-old is also linked to Atletico Madrid, who follow his development.
It’s claimed that the Brazilian and his staff ‘carefully observe’ the market moves. However, with his good adaption to the club and city, that ‘puts a brake’ on the chances of leaving Norwich City this summer.
The Canaries paid São Paulo €10.5m to sign Sara in the summer of 2022. In his first season with the Canaries, he had seven goals and four assists in 43 appearances, despite being a central midfielder.
