Some quite interesting news on Liverpool’s chase for Ruben Amorim come from the Portuguese media today.
Journalist Pedro Sepulveda writes that the coach’s agent has just bought an apartment in Liverpool. It’s said that the representative will have one of his employees permanently living in the English city.
There’s no guarantee it’s solely related to Amorim, because the agent already has another client at Liverpool, which is Luis Diaz. However, the suggestion is it’s a pretty big hint because they wouldn’t need someone in the city to purely watch over Diaz.
It’s made clear that Amorim and the Reds are in ‘final negotiations’ regarding his contract with the club, so that could be the reason for this extra investment from the representative.
We must say that most of the Portuguese media has not been sharing big updates on Liverpool’s chase for Amorim, but Sepulveda is the one with nearly daily tweets on this chase.
Just like the coach is fully focused on winning the league with Sporting, it seems the Lions are not that concerned about his departure for now, with the journalist claiming the Lisbon side still do not have ‘any name’ in mind to replace the manager.
