Bojan Krkic wasn’t a regular starter for Stoke City last season, and played 736 minutes in the Championship, spread across 21 appearances.
He has one year left on his contract and his future could now be away from the English club.
Wednesday’s edition of Catalan newspaper Sport states the 28-year-old is currently training at his former club Barcelona, using their training facilities after receiving permission from the Potters.
Having joined Stoke from the La Liga winners in 2014, the time has come for him to leave and look for a new challenge in the summer transfer window.
It’s claimed Bojan’s next destination could be in Spain as several clubs are interested in the attacker and have ‘asked for him’.
The transfer fee seems affordable for most of the clubs as Stoke will allow him to leave for a sum of €1m.
It could be set even lower with the intention of rewarding Bojan due to his loyalty to the club and the fondness of the fans over the past few years.
