In the last two weeks, Napoli’s Elseid Hysaj has reemerged as a transfer target for Chelsea in January.

Last Friday, we relayed news from Italy that the Blues have called Napoli to try and sign the right-back, while his agent did not rule out the transfer in the winter market.

During Rai Sport’s ‘Calcio&Mercato’ program on Friday, they discussed the Albanian international and Calcio Napoli 24 have gathered key points made about the defender.

It is claimed the 24-year-old is now waiting for the west London club to make a proposal for him next month so that he can leave the Serie A outfit and reunite with his former manager, Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea.

An earlier report from Calciomercato.it indicated the FA Cup winners are planning to loan him back to Napoli until the end of the season and bring him to Stamford Bridge next summer.

If the Premier League club decide against making a bid for Hysaj, he will then evaluate president Aurelio De Laurentiis’s offer to extend the contract at Napoli.
