Over the past few weeks, it’s become clear that Newcastle United have moved on from Aaron Ramsey, leaving Crystal Palace as the only side prepared to make a move for the Welshman.
The midfielder is massively out of favour in Italy, and while there had been hope from Juventus’ end that an exit could be sorted out quickly, that hasn’t been the case.
With the transfer window now entering its final stages, there could still be movement, however, as Gazzetta dello Sport report the Serie A side ‘are expecting the exit of Aaron Ramsey at any moment’.
The reason for that is the player is currently ‘in talks with Crystal Palace’, suggesting the Eagles are towards the back end of their endeavour and a deal could be struck rather soon.
We’ll have to wait and see what comes of this, but it appears that Patrick Vieira is keen to work with the former Arsenal midfielder, clearly believing he has something to offer in the Premier League despite his limited game time in Italy of late.
