French newspaper Le Parisien have an article in their Tuesday edition on potential PSG transfers this summer.

The club have to sell players to balance FFP before they can go strongly back into the market again, but that doesn’t stop their local media getting excited about potential purchases.

The goalkeeper position remains up for grabs at PSG and Le Parisien link Thibaut Courtois. It’s claimed PSG chief Antero Henrique met Courtois in London last month for talks, and the goalkeeper ‘reserves his response for the moment’.

It’s not the first time the London meeting between Courtois and PSG has been claimed, but it must be stated the goalkeeper’s camp denied the initial claims so one would have to assume the same goes for this too.

Whether Le Parisien know of that denial and are dismissing it is unknown.

Chelsea’s keeper has been more strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid than PSG but did his chances of a Bernabeu transfer no favours last week with a poor performance against Barcelona.

Courtois was somewhat mocked by the Catalan media in the aftermath of the match and that’s not going to endear him to the Real Madrid faithful and president Florentino Perez.

Keeping his options open for so long on a Chelsea renewal, the Belgian international may eventually feel staying at Stamford Bridge is the best option he has, unless he wants to try and tempt Real Madrid with the idea of a free transfer.
