Sabah report Galatasaray have been given renewed hope in their pursuit of Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye after the player revealed he could still sign for his former club.

The Turkish newspaper claim they’ve contacted Ndiaye and the player said: “I might return to Galatasaray. My agent currently taking care of this things.”

According to Sabah, due to lack of interest coming from other clubs, the Senegalese international is moving closer to a return to Galatasaray and manager Fatih Terim will be delighted with these latest developments.

Earlier in this window we covered reports from the Turkish press that Terim is pushing hard for a reunion with Ndiaye and the 63 year old is the main reason behind the club’s pursuit of the Stoke City player.

Galatasaray want to loan the Stoke City player for free and have reportedly offered to cover Ndiaye’s salary.

The midfielder is expected the leave the club following Stoke City’s relegation and has been previously been linked with moves to Newcastle United and Wolves.
