It seems the Turin press is back to being optimistic about Juventus’ chances of signing Emre Can at the end of the season.

In a story written by Tuttosport, the newspaper claims the Old Lady are just waiting for Liverpool’s Champions League adventure to be over so the Italian side can ‘close the chapter’ on Can’s saga.

The story claims that Can is ‘ready to say the definitive yes’ to Juve and join the club on a free transfer at the end of the season.

With the deal not done yet, of course there’s some fear that some other club could still convince Can to go somewhere else. But Tuttosport think these chances are pretty low, as it would only happen if a much bigger offer arrives. They don’t mention any chance of him staying at Liverpool, though.

In case Juve fail to get Can from Liverpool, then they would go for other alternatives, which now would be Bryan Cristante from Atalanta and Paul Pogba from Manchester United.
