Slowly making his way into Slaven Bilic’s side, as was demonstrated through his start against Manchester United in the Premier League and then in the FA Cup against Manchester City following his rescinded suspension, Sofiane Feghouli is actively trying to leave West Ham, according to Il Tempo.
The 27-year-old, who arrived on a free in the summer, is reported to have told West Ham that he ‘intends to accept Roma’s offer’, having already agreed terms with the Serie A side.
One obstacle now remains, and that is to convince the London side to let him go, which, if they find an adequate replacement for Feghouli, shouldn’t be a problem.
The prime target here appears to be Hull’s Robert Snodgrass, but with new manager Marco Silva trying to put an end to that for now, they might have to look elsewhere.
Roma are said to be offering a loan with a view to buy for €10m later on in the season, but if no agreement can be found, the option to move for Chelsea’s Charly Musonda remains open.
