Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez has reportedly committed his near future to the Blues, but not for very long.
According to Italian journalist Eleonora Trotta today, the 32-year-old has given his ‘availability’ to play for the Blues until the end of the season.
That’s a way for the player to feature in the remaining fixtures of the Premier League, since his contract with the Blues was supposed to expire at the end of June.
However, the Spaniard is still very close to a departure from Stamford Bridge. The reporter claims the player is joining Roma as a free agent in the next transfer window.
Pedro has reportedly already agreed a deal with the Serie A side, which will be a contract of two years, plus an option for a further one.
Roma’s negotiations for Pedro have been reported by the Italian media for a couple of months now, and these details about his last months at Chelsea seem to confirm that he’s soon on his way to the Giallorossi.
