At the end of last week it was reported in Italy that Crystal Palace had submitted an offer for Eder.
The Premier League club were said to be willing to pay €10-11m to sign the forward, and it would allow Inter Milan to then go out and sign other players.
Even at that stage it was reported Eder was considering the Crystal Palace approach, showing he wasn’t jumping at the chance despite being ‘fed up’ of sitting on Inter Milan’s bench.
In their Sunday edition, Gazzetta dello Sport state Eder ‘does not seem attracted’ towards signing for Crystal Palace this month. The same is said to go for a move to China, and it’s a frustration for Inter.
The Milan club’s transfer business is being held up by Eder, and they want him out before trying to complete a deal for his replacement, with Daniel Sturridge said to be the man on pole for the job.
From a Crystal Palace perspective it’s probably best to look elsewhere, if the interest is correct, as there’s little point trying to sign a player who’s not really up for it.
