Looking for another striker, Crystal Palace appear to be focusing on Italy to find their man, with Khouma Babacar touted as a potential option.

However, the Fiorentina goalscorer isn’t the only man on their list, if Corriere dello Sport are to be believed, with Inter’s Eder also a candidate.

In fact, the Italian newspaper explain the Eagles have actually put an offer of around €10-11m for the forward to consider.

The Italy international has yet to respond to the move, and is believed to be considering, as he’s currently ‘fed up’ of sitting on the bench at San Siro, having to watch Mauro Icardi (for good reason) start week in, week out.

Whether he’d get more game time at Selhurst Park, where Christian Benteke is the undisputed starter, remains to be seen, but he’d certainly offer Roy Hodgson a nice alternative to the Belgian, who has struggled for goals so far this season.

Now we wait to see what his answer is.
