Earlier this week, we covered claims from Denmark which stated Brighton & Hove Albion have made progress to sign Brøndby IF’s Clement Bischoff.

On Thursday, Tipsbladet reported the left-back was travelling to England to carry out the medical tests with the Seagulls. They also stated he will sign a contract until 2030 and will move to The Amex in the summer.

Another report from Tipsbladet states the 19-year-old is ‘millimetres away’ from sealing a ‘huge move’ to Brighton. The agreement is for the defender to arrive at the English club after this season.

Two days ago, they stated the Danish club will sell the youngster to Fabian Hürzeler’s side for €8m. Tipsbladet now claim the fee will be higher if bonuses are included.

According to the report, the bonuses are DKK 15m [€2m] and Brøndby are likely to collect it as the conditions, linked to number of appearances, are easily achievable. In addition to this, they will be entitled to receive a large percentage of profit from a future sale.

For now, Brøndby have sold Bischoff to the Premier League club for €8m. They will have to wait until after the summer to collect more money from this operation.
